Groove has layers and layers of painting underneath each other.
I started to paint it at a time when I was going through a lot & it took me weeks to complete simply because I didn’t feel like painting or working at the time.
There’s so much emotions in this painting as you can tell from every stroke.
Each stroke took me deeper into being “satisfied” with the artwork. At different stages, I felt it wasn’t complete and I just continued after each coat.
Groove turns out to be my favorite in this month’s collection, how odd is that? And yes I felt better by the time I was through with her as I had a sense of satisfaction & achievement after finishing this piece.
This colorful art piece is painted with gouache and detailed with pencil on 280gsm Acrylic Primed Canvas Pad.
